maremma, italy - travel assignment for Destinasian magazine

Earlier this month I travelled to Italy to shoot an editorial feature on the Maremma region of tuscany for Destinasian magazine. Maremma is 'wild' country and home to the Butteri - Tuscan cowboys. I was lucky enough to stay at the L'Andana which is close to Castiglione della Pescaia.

Last month I was back in ubud shooting food at will goldfarb's room4dessert. We shot dishes from the exciting new dessert menu and photographed the recently opened L'Hort restaurant.

iPhone baduy portraits

Last week I returned to the baduy after a hiatus of 10 years. It was good to be back amongst these humble people who continue to live a traditional lifestyle in the Kendeng mountains 180 kms south west of jakarta. These portraits were all shot with an iPhone 5S using the hipstamatic camera app.

tearsheets - Monocle issue 83

Last month I shot this beautiful house in jakarta for Monocle. It is the residence of Ronald Akili of Potato Head fame. The house is at Tanah Teduh south jakarta, architecture by acclaimed indonesian architect Andra Matin. The images are featured in the May edition of Monocle, which is on the newsstands now.
