In October I travelled to Bali to shoot a feature for New York Times Style Magazine on a remarkable chocolate factory just outside of Ubud. The 23,500 square feet structure is the world's largest commercial building made out of bamboo. It is the brainchild of Ben Ripple and Frederick Schilling owners of Big Tree Farms
Earlier this year I shot a feature for monocle on the Singapore Navy. For the shoot we spent a couple of fun days on a frigate on exercise in the south china sea. The highlight for me though was half a day at pulau tekong where kids fresh out of school do their basic military training as part of their national service.
