Last July I was assigned by the Park Hyatt Jakarta to shoot the main venues / outlets for their pre opening marketing.

From Bromo I travelled directly to Bangkok to shoot new visuals for Banyan Tree Bangkok. After Bangkok we flew to Phuket to shoot at Banyan Tree Phuket.
 

Yadnya Kasada Bromo

 

Last June I travelled to Mount Bromo in East Java to shoot the Yadnya Kasada ritual with my 4x5 film camera - continuing on my long term project about Indonesia's volcanoes.

'PAON - Real Balinese Cooking' by Tjok Maya Kerthyasa and I Wayan Kresna Yasa published by Hardie Grant Books was launched in May / June 2022. For the book shoot I was in Bali for 2 weeks in September 2021, photo production and styling by Maya + Wayan.

Sumba Hospitality Foundation photography

 

After the assignment for Destinasian I shot new images for the Sumba Hospitality Foundation and Maringi Sumba, located close to the airport at Tambolaka, West Sumba. The foundation is doing fantastic work training young Sumbanese students for future careers in the hospitality industry. The resort is set on the campus so that students can get hands on training with international guests. We also documented daily excursions around West Sumba.

In May I travelled to Sumba for two assignments. The First Shoot a travel feature for Destinasian magazine. These images are from my stay at Nihi.

Polobund Restaurant interiors for Alvin-T

 

In April I was commissioned by Alvin-T to shoot the recently completed Polobund restaurant in Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta.

Artwork for Angel Pieter's single Nadadinadimu

 

In April I was in Bali to shoot artwork for acclaimed Indonesian singer Angel Pieters. I was commissioned to shoot with large format film on location and in the studio. These images were used as artwork for Angel's latest single Nadadinadimu which was released last July.

Mid April I was commissioned by Alvin-T to shoot Wall art for Polobund Restaurant in North Jakarta.

Krakatau volcano - for OPPO Indonesia

 

Fresh from shooting Omah Jati in Anyer I headed to Krakatau volcano to shoot more content for OPPO Indonesia using the latest OPPO Find X5 Pro mobile phone.

OPPO Finders

 

In April I was assigned by OPPO Indonesia to shoot Stills and Video of 3 'Finders' using the new OPPO Find X5 Pro mobile phone. This included shoots in Bali - Chef Will Goldfarb at Room4Dessert in Ubud and Mita Soedarjo at the Bulgari Bali Resort. From Bali I then travelled to Banten to shoot Andra Matin and his newest project Oma Jati in Anyer
